Nothing
Refunds and cancellation
Last updated 23 October 2026
If the certificate did not arrive or did not work, or it has not been sent yet, you get your money back. If it was sent at your request and you have changed your mind about owning Nothing, you generally do not. Ask anyway. We would rather refund you than have you feel cheated by a joke.
The 14-day right
Digital content bought at a distance normally carries a 14-day right to cancel. It ends once the certificate is sent, but only if you asked for it straight away and ticked the box at checkout saying you understood. That box is never ticked for you, and we keep a record of what you chose.
If you did not tick it, the certificate waits until the 14 days are up, and you can cancel for any reason until then.
You always get a refund if
- the certificate never arrived, or arrived broken;
- you were charged twice, or charged the wrong amount;
- we refused the name you chose.
How to ask
Email hello@ownerofnothing.com with your number, or the email address you used. No form, and no reason needed.
Paddle.com Market Ltd is the merchant of record, so Paddle issues the refund to the card you paid with. It normally shows within three to five working days, depending on your bank.
What happens to the number
The order is marked as refunded. The number is not issued to anybody else.
