Nothing

Terms of sale

Last updated 23 October 2026

1. Who you are dealing with

Owner of Nothing is the trading name of Richard Foulkes, [POSTAL ADDRESS]. Email hello@ownerofnothing.com.

Paddle acts as the merchant of record for every order. Paddle is the seller of record to you, handles payment, and is responsible for charging and remitting any sales tax or VAT due in your country. You pay Paddle.com Market Ltd, and your receipt and any refund come from them.

2. What you are buying

Nothing. That is a number, allocated to you, and a certificate showing it, sent by email. There is no physical object and nothing is posted.

Owning a Nothing confers no rights and creates no obligations. It grants no title, property, licence or interest in anything, and no claim against anybody. It is not an investment and has no resale value that we recognise. Nothing is owed. Nothing is expected. Nothing will happen.

If you want something that does something, this is the wrong shop.

3. Your number

Numbers are allocated in order, automatically, at the moment payment clears. You cannot choose one. Each number is issued once and never again, including if the order is later refunded.

Nothing itself is not in short supply. We will keep issuing numbers for as long as people buy them.

4. Gifts

You can buy a Nothing for somebody else. We need their name for the certificate, their email address to send it, and the day you want it to arrive. We use their email address only to send the certificate. Please only give us the details of somebody who will not mind receiving it.

5. Your right to cancel

Digital content bought at a distance normally carries a 14-day right to cancel. At checkout you can ask for the certificate straight away. If you do, and you tick the box saying you understand, the right to cancel ends once the certificate is sent.

If you leave that box unticked, you keep the full 14 days and the certificate goes out when they are up. A gift dated later than that goes on its date.

None of this affects your rights if the certificate is faulty or never arrives. See Refunds.

6. The name on the certificate

The name you give is printed on the certificate. It is not published anywhere. We will refuse a name that is abusive or impersonates somebody, and refund you in full if we do.

7. Price

£4.99. Paddle may show the price in your own currency and adds any sales tax or VAT due where you live before you pay.

8. If something goes wrong

If a certificate does not arrive, or arrives wrong, email hello@ownerofnothing.com and we will fix it or refund you.

These terms are governed by the law of Cyprus. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law where you live, including in the United Kingdom.
